About
Taylor wrote his 2nd string quartet in May of 2010 originally for the Chiara String Quartet. After reading how one of the members was refused his flight because he had brought his cello (he plays a very rare and old instrument) onboard, Taylor felt bad for the group and decided to finish up the composition. Taylor then dedicated it to them. The dedication was later revoked after the group acted in an unprofessional manner towards Taylor.
