About
Written between October 18th and 20th of 2010, this composition is unlike any other in the classical repertoire. Scored for the unusual combination of 3 celli and 1 contrabass, it has a unique quality. Taylor wrote the work in response to a commission from the Karalis Bass Quartet. Each movement is about a minute long, with the whole work totaling up to about three minutes.
